East Hanover Township
This one vehicle crash occurred on May 29 at 3:22pm as Unit #1 was traveling southbound in I-81, E. Hanover Township, Lebanon County around mile marker 84.1. Unit 1, a 2014 Freightliner driven by a 28 year old West Virginia man, was traveling in the right lane. Operator #1 was traveling behind a vehicle that slowed down and put their emergency lights on during a rain storm. Unit #1’s automatic braking system engaged and Operator #1 attempted to prevent Unit #1 from striking the vehicle in front of him. Operator #1 lost control of Unit #1 and left the roadway. Initial impact occured as Unit #1 hit the guiderail off the shoulder of the highway. Unit #1 came to a final controlled rest on the shoulder off the right lane of travel. Operator #1 was treated by EMS on scene for minor injuries and Unit #1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was charged with Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds.

A 74 year old Lebanon man struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a 22 year old Lebanon woman. No injuries reported; vehicles were driven from scene.

A 47 year old Lebanon man was cited for Disorderly Conduct when police observed him smoking marijuana on a park bench.

1755 QUENTIN RD – LEBANON
A 17 years of age female, Lebanon was traveling northbound on Quentin Rd, when she went through the intersection, while the traffic light was steady red. A 62 year old Lebanon woman had the green light, traveling westbound when, when she struck the juvenile on the passenger side front fender. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, no injuries reported.
South Londonderry Township
On May 23 at 3:41pm at Palmyra Road and W. Market Street, a 17 year old juvenile male was cited for emerging from a driveway without proper clearance after his Chevy SUV struck a Mitsubishi SUV that was traveling south on Palmyra Road. The Mitsubishi was driven by a 33 year old Lancaster man. He went to the hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. Lawn EMS assisted with the call.
