The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) has begun to report probable COVID-19 cases.
According to DOH spokesperson Nate Wardle, the probable cases are a fraction of overall cases. They are already being included in the daily figures that LebTown has been sharing following the DOH’s regular noontime updates.
LebTown confirmed this fact yesterday following our report that counties in the state would now be able to integrate COVID-19 case data into emergency response systems.

That data, which includes the specific addresses of confirmed or probable COVID-19 cases but no names, will be used by the county’s 911 center so that dispatch may inform first responders if they are headed to an address where someone with COVID-19 is thought to reside.
