Beverly Ann Watson, 71, was ushered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Born in Lebanon on August 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late John and Pauline Fertig Watson. She spent years in the home of the Ammon Wenger family and graduated from Northern Lebanon High School in 1969. She began her employment right out of high school with Oakview Home for Widows and Single Ladies and continued there until the home closed in 1993. She worked briefly at Printed Terry and then completed her years of work at Wal-Mart in Lebanon until her retirement in 2016.

For many years she was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in Lebanon and enjoyed singing in the choir and leading the openings for Sunday School. She loved all kinds of animals and was never able to pass one by without giving it some love. Beverly made friends easily and often had them laughing with her jokes. She will be missed dearly by her friends at Willow Terrace and the Conrad and Weidman/Maulfair families.

She is survived by her sister Paula Swope of Lebanon; brothers Frank Watson and his wife Jean of Lebanon and Tom Bross and his wife Beverly of Palmyra, as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, June Rowe and her brother, Clair.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, 426 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:30 until the start of the service
