Brett Allman Swanger died on Dec. 21, 2021, after fighting cancer for over a year.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa. Whether they were just sharing time with each other quietly, dancing on the patio under the stars, or watching hockey, they loved being together. They never shared an unkind word, and they made each other smile.

He is also survived by his stepson, Jordan, who he loves and supports every day; his daughters, Chloe Adsila and Syan Trefilia, who he is proud of for the beautiful daughters they are and for all they will accomplish. He has all the confidence in the world in you. Brett is also survived by his parents, Al and Lori Swanger, who raised him to be the wonderful husband and father he was.

A special message to my wife and kids: “Til we meet again, Adios, Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersehen, Good Night.” Imagine it with bubbles.

Brett would love if all could remember what Marvin sang all those years ago, “We’ve got to bring a little lovin’ here today,” and live it more in life. Brett asks that all his friends think of him one more time, listen to anything Zappa, and enjoy.

For anyone who feels so inclined, donations can be made in Brett’s name to a homeless shelter, local food bank, or just do a kind deed for someone. A visitation will be announced at a later date.
