Edward N. Mogel, Jr., 51, of Manheim passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, January 10, 2020 with family by his side.  He was born June 25, 1968 to Edward N. and Deborah A. (Randazzo) Mogel.  He is survived by his loving wife Ciera (Tolley) Mogel.

Edward retired from the Navy after 20 years of service serving in both the Iraq and golf war. He was a lover of playing the trumpet and listening to jazz and classic rock.  He was a huge Billy Joel fan and an avid reader.  He also loved all and any animal big or small and traveling especially to Scotland where he would have moved to if he could.  Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, brother, and son.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his children: Ashley Wilson, Desiree Hill, Joey Mogel, Holden Hill, and Gavin Hill; sister, Angela Henrick; maternal grandmother, Louise Randazzo; and paternal grandmother, Eleanor Mogel.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at noon at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of visitation will be held from 11AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with full military honors.
