Gilberto Rolon, 75, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Susan (Miraldi) Rolon.

Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico on Oct. 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Fernando Rolon-Reyes and Amelia Rolon-Ortiz.

Gilberto was a Veteran of the United States Army National Guard and the Armory. He also served in the Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are six children, Gilberto Rolon, Jr., significant other of Tina Miller, of Lebanon, Gilberto L. Rolon, husband of Jacqueline, of Lebanon, Richard L. Rolon, husband of Melanie, of Lebanon, Jacqueline M. Rolon, wife of Meghan, of Lebanon, Jeffrey A. Rolon, of Lebanon, and Jennifer Rolon, of Camp Hill; four brothers, “Compai” Luis Rolon-Ortiz, husband of Virginia, of Puerto Rico, Geraldo “Chiro” Rolon-Ortiz, of Lebanon, Edgardo Rolon-Ortiz, husband of Karen, of Lebanon, and William Rolon-Ortiz, husband of Donna, of Lebanon; four sisters, Carmen “Tita” Rolon-Ortiz, of Lebanon, Ada Rolon-Ortiz, of Reading, Graciliana “Cuca” Birriel, of Lebanon, and Rosa Torres, of Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Angel “Neco” Rolon-Ortiz, and two sisters, Anna and Alicia Rolon-Ortiz.

A public viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville, PA 17003. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory. A public viewing will be held on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will take place on Thursday at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery following the service. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the American Legion, 1410 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
