Jackson “Jack” Leon Imboden, 90, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021. He was born in Lebanon on July 19, 1931, son of the late Earl L. and Dorothy (Patton) Imboden. Jack was the husband of the late Alma E. (Eby) Imboden who passed away on August 4, 1986.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Lebanon V.A. Medical Center where he worked as an aide. His competitive abilities started at a young age when he became the Marble Champion of Lebanon County. Jack graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1950, as a well-rounded individual, being named the most artistic in his senior class and excelling at baseball (eventually trying out for the Boston Red Sox), football, and captain of the basketball team. He was a superior athlete beyond official high school sports, including golf, bowling, and softball. Jack was known best as an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his free time hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his two children, Sharon “Sherry” I. Sanders (Jeffrey), of Harrisburg, and Jackson Thomas “Tom” Imboden (Allecia), of Lebanon; four grandsons: Christopher C. Sanders (Alaina); Joshua T. Imboden (Tiffany); Patrick J. Sanders (Alison) and Eric Jackson Sanders (Mariah); four great-grandchildren: Roman D. Sanders, Jaxson T. Imboden, Rory M. Sanders and Nathan S. Kolar; sister-in-law: Marian Imboden; nieces, great-nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his brother, Earl F. Imboden.

Graveside services will be private. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jack on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Please contact a family member for location. Please follow COVID-19 protocols. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
