Kenneth C. Witters, 72, of Jonestown, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Regina A. Good Witters.

Born in Lebanon on June 30, 1949, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Ernestine V. Young Witters.

He was a graduate of the Northern Lebanon Class of 1968. For many years, Ken was the owner and operator of the Ken Witter’s Auto Body Shop on Awol Rd. He then worked for Starsinic Appraisal Service as an auto insurance adjuster for 10 years. Ken then opened Country Gentleman, a men’s big and tall clothing store located in Fredericksburg. He owned and operated this business for 6 years after which he decided to retire.

Ken’s passions in life included cars, weightlifting, dogs (Spike, Buddy and Russell), travel, friends, and family. He enjoyed a lifelong love of working on model car kits that he would custom paint and many times fabricate his own parts. He lifted weights and competed in a few weightlifting competitions. He enjoyed the many trips to the beach with his motorcycle gang, going on cruises and trips to Raystown Lake. He enjoyed sitting on his back porch or in the garage smoking cigars and sipping on Jack Daniels spending time with his friends. Throughout Ken’s retirement, he enjoyed working in his garage on the many different street rods he owned. Ken also enjoyed spending lots of time with his family and grandson.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Julie M. Laudermilch and her fiancé Heath Fortner of Tower City, and his grandson Cole Michael Laudermilch.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at the Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Jonestown.
