Levi S. Gerhart, Jr., 75, of Jonestown, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Faydeen Marie Rentschler Gerhart. On November 1st, they would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on November 10, 1945, he was the son of the late Levi S., Sr., and Grace Smith Gerhart. He is a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School with the Class of 1963. Levi served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, and then he retired from the Army National Guard. Following his retirement, he worked for ten years as a cemetery representative at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. He was a member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Andrea Leigh Barbaretta and her fiancé Devon Dixon, of Jonestown; brother Ray husband of Marilyn Gerhart, of Easton; sisters Mildred wife of Robert Bashore, of Broadheadsville, PA, and Shirley Brogan, of Seattle, WA; grandchildren Miranda Elizabeth, Matthew Levi and his fiancé Skyblue Andrews and Breydan David; brother-in-law Steve Hetrick; sisters-in-law Denise wife of Rick Voshell, Cynda wife of John Kless and Sandy wife of Joe Drupp and several nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers Floyd and Harold Gerhart.
Levi was a blessed man of God with a loving family and so many friends who loved him!

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
