Melina Marie Diaz, 38, of Cleona, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022.

Melina M. Diaz was born Friday, April 13, 1983, in Tacoma, WA. She is the youngest daughter of Sheila M. Luciotti and Douglas A. Diaz.

She was a loving mother and aunt to her two nieces, Sarae and Janae Boyles. She was an accomplished hairstylist and a natural leader, creative in everything she did from making jewelry, to crocheting, and various types of art.

Staff Sergeant Melina M. Diaz was a multiple award and commendation recipient and veteran of Enduring Freedom stationed both in Kuwait and Afghanistan.

She is survived by numerous aunts and uncles and loving friends. She was loved tremendously by all of them. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, determination, and service to her country.

She is survived by them both, as well as, her dad James L. Lymaster and her companion David Wilson, along with her two eldest sisters Jennifer L. Jones, Melissa Schaeffer, and younger brother Jason Lymaster. Heartbreakingly, she leaves a legacy in her five surviving children. Alexander D. Correa, 18, Anthony J. Pena, 15, Adalina M. Diaz, 7, Alijah D.E. Wilson, 3, and Aalijah C.G. Wilson, 18 months.

She is preceded in death by Belman and Irma Luciotti, her maternal grandparents, and Donald and Marjorie Diaz, her paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Memorial services will be on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors, following the service. Following the funeral a repast will be held at her mother’s home, 205 S. Christian Street, Cleona, PA 17042.
