Robert J. Werth, 86, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Dallastown Nursing Center. He was the husband of Kay E. (Stefonich)Werth, to whom he was married for 56 years.

Born in Lebanon, PA on April 27, 1935, Robert was a son of the late Augustine and Elizabeth (Trainor) Werth. He was a 1953 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and retired from Bayer Corporation after 32 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church. He played golf for many years and was proud of the 1 hole in one he had. He loved the Oakland A’s, Philadelphia Eagles, and Penn State Football.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three children, JoAnn Eiceman, wife of David, Steven Werth, and Mary Ann Tompkins, wife of Larry; three grandchildren, Jonathan Eiceman, Daniel Eiceman, and Selia Werth; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn (Heverling) Werth who died on July 4, 1960; a son, Robert B. Werth; and two brothers, Joseph and Edward Werth.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11th at St. Mary’s Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
