Robert T. Marko, Sr., 82, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Gloria J. (Etchberger) Marko of Lebanon. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on February 23rd.

Born in Lebanon on February 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph and Caroline (Donton) Marko.

Robert served his country in the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He attended Kochenderfer Church. He was a grinder for Lebanon Steel Foundry. Robert enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking, hunting, fishing, NASCAR, of course, the Eagles & Flyers, and had a passion for running. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Rebekah J., wife of Aaron Schaffhauser of Harrisburg; grandchildren Autumn, wife of Andrew Rohland, Emily Marko, Hunter Brubaker, Lillian Brubaker, Adele Crumlich, Nora Schaffhauser and Avery Schaffhauser; great-grandchildren Vivian and Cohen Rohland; and sister Joanne Ditzler of N. Lebanon Twp.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert T. Marko, Jr., and brother Joseph Marko.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
