Ronald E. “Ron” Elliott, 81, of Palmyra, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 8, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Marlene K. (Flory) Elliott, with whom he celebrated 53 years in marriage in August of this year.

Ron was born in Lebanon on September 19, 1940, to the late Paul S. and Emma (Miller) Elliott. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a conductor for the Conrail/Norfolk Southern Railroad. Ron was a member of Lebanon Valley Bible Church. He enjoyed traveling, camping, working with model trains, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his dogs.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Todd Michael Elliott, of Lebanon, Trent Matthew Elliott, of Lebanon, a grandson, Kyle Elliott and his wife Sara, and a brother, James R. Elliott, of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by his siblings, David Elliott and Elizabeth Heisey.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at Lebanon Valley Bible Church, 1482 Horseshoe Pike, Lebanon. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors. There will be a visitation from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church.
