Once the holidays are over and the reality of winter sets in, cabin fever rises to epidemic proportions. One way of avoiding the symptoms of this condition is to take time to come to the annual Bologna Fest & Winter Carnival at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. ‘till 7 p.m.

Sponsored by the Lebanon Rotary Club, this family friendly and affordable event comes at the perfect time to break up the winter doldrums by providing indoor fun with something for everyone in the family. Occupy the kids with games like Can Smash, Gone Fishing, Fish in a Bowl, Giant Jenga, Tic Tac Toe, or getting their face painted by Brooke Guddat Face Painting, or having their portrait done with Charles Ploppert Caricatures. And if that’s not enough, stick around for karate and dance demonstrations, magic tricks, Critter Connection, jugglers, and more!

Plenty to eat offered by vendors of every kind including Lancaster Cupcakes, Boom! Craft Pickles, PA Dairymen’s Association (can you say Farm Show Milkshakes?), Dam Good Snack Foods, and Millcreek Church. And what’s a Bologna Fest without bologna? Try satisfying that midwinter appetite with fare from the likes of Tripps BBQ, Seltzers, Jerky, and Godshall’s Meats. But make sure your save room for the Bologna Easting Contest at 3 p.m.! And if you’re in the mood for an adult beverage, you can sample tastings from over twenty-five local breweries and wineries between 4 and 7 p.m.

This year’s Bologna Fest comes to you with the help of Ginny & Albert Alley M.D., PDG, Lebanon County Tourism, Strickler Insurance, JBT, UPMC Pinnacle, Godshall’s Quality Meats, Seltzers, Fulton Bank, Bath Fitter, Homespire Windows & Doors, Hershey Palmyra Sertoma, and the Meyer Oil Company, just to name a few of our sponsors.
